Books by Wendy Marie

I was born in New Rochelle, New York and raised in New Rochelle and Mamaroneck, New York. I am an only child.  But with my parents, both sets of grandparents, uncles, aunts and 9 cousins, I was surrounded by plenty of love. My mother’s two youngest brothers gave me my first and middle
name – Wendy Marie.

My favorite object to carry around as a child was a small globe.  I would point out the different cities my uncles lived in while they were in college.  I also picked out the places I wanted to visit.  I was always ready to go!

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from UCLA in Los Angeles, California I also have a Master of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York

I have had a few careers over the years such as group home counselor, receptionist, paralegal and tutor and teacher.  But one of the best jobs I have ever had was at only 3 and 4 years old.  My grandmother gave me the job of waking up my uncles (the same two who named me) every morning so they could get ready for school.

Currently, I live in the Atlanta, Georgia area with my husband.  I am a stepmother, aunt and Godmother.
